Trey Strong Organization collecting school supplies for kids

Jul 1, 2021

Each year, the Trey Strong organization collects school supplies to make sure students have what they need to succeed.

The organization honors the memory of Trey Miranda, a 17-year-old student-athlete who passed away due to brain cancer in 2016.

This year, the group is looking for donations of backpacks, pens, pencils, rulers, scissors, erasers, crayons, notebooks, paper clips, markers, pencil sharpeners, staples, calculators, and glue sticks. The organization has partnered with Staples and AT&T in Wareham Crossing this year.

Donations can be dropped off at Staples or AT&T, both located in Wareham Crossing, or at the Colburn Group, located at 33 County Rd. #2 in the Ropewalk in Mattapoisett. Donations will be accepted until August 13.
