The Wareham Youth Soccer Club is hosting travel team tryouts for the 2014 season on Sunday, October 27, at the John W. Decas Elementary School on Main Street.

Spring travel teams are affiliated with the South Coast Soccer League of Massachusetts. The season begins in March and ends in June. Each team plays an eight-game schedule with four away games and four home games. Home games are played at Minot Forest Elementary and Decas Elementary.

Tryouts are mandatory. Missing tryouts will place a player last on the selection list and will risk the chance of not being selected for a team. Trying out for a particular age group does not guarantee selection for that team.

U8, U9, and U10 players try out from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.; U11, U12, and U13 players try out from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; U14 through U18 players try out from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and need a $40 deposit.
