Two arrested on drug charges within 15 minutes of each other
Two people were arrested Tuesday night on unrelated drug charges within 15 minutes of each other, according to Wareham Police.
Police said Chance Boisse, 37, of Charlton, dropped a plastic bag containing about five grams of cocaine, after officers stopped his car on Cranberry Highway at 6:45 p.m., near Maco’s Bait Shop, on reports Boisse was driving erratically. Boisse was charged with possession of a class B substance (Cocaine), according to police.
In an unrelated stop at 7 p.m., police said officers stopped a car at the Brandy Hill Apartments complex. During the investigation, passenger Jaimee Morris, 26, of Buzzards Bay, was found to be in possession of a gram of heroin, a syringe filled with brown liquid suspected to be heroin, and a spoon with heroin residue on it. Morris was arrested at the scene, and charged with possession of a class A substance (Heroin) and littering, police said.
Boisse and Morris were scheduled to be arraigned on the charges at Wareham Fourth District Court on May 20.
