TWO WAREHAM CONCERTS COMING SOON!
Music from Land's End Wareham is bringing their chamber music concerts to Wareham beginning next week! Thanks to artistic director Ariadne Daskalakis, internationally acclaimed artists will perform for our community for the sixth season.
On Wednesday, July 26 at 3 pm, the musicians will perform a Family Concert at the Wareham Free Library featuring Mozart, Saraste, and the Beatles. The Beatles selections were performed last year to the delight and appreciation of the audience and if you missed it, this is your chance. According to Ben Dunham, music reviewer and founding director of Chamber Music America, this performance is "just the kind of intelligent, stimulating program we have come to expect from the Music from Land's End festival each summer."
Then on July 30 at 5 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, you will hear music for string quintets by Mozart, Saraste, Schumann, and Gottschick.
Don't miss the other performances in the summer festival:
July 28th at 7 pm at the Friends Academy in North Dartmouth
July 29 at St. Gabriel's Church at 8 pm in Marion
August 11 at the Falmouth Academy in Falmouth at 7 pm
August 13 at 5 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd
Admission is by donation. All proceeds from the library performance benefits the Wareham Free Library.
Performers include Ariadne Daskalaskis, Ricardo Caraceni, Andria Chang, Arthur Haas, Sebastian Gottschick, Abigail Fischer, Paige Riggs, Putnam Murdock, Leonardo Papa and Martha McGaughey.
