Upcoming Programs from The Friends of Wareham Free Library

From cranberries to colonial history, the Wareham Free Library has a variety of events scheduled for the next few weeks. 

On Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m local author Clement Smith will speak about his latest book, “My Great Life with my Perfect Wife: A Memoir” at The Wareham Free Library. The memoir tells a story of facing obstacles and how to move past them. Smith will provide insight from his own experience and how finding his life partner made all the difference. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m, representatives from the Cape Cod Cranberry Association will speak on the cranberry industry including its history and ongoing changes. This is a free program with no registration required.

On Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m, The Old Colony History Museum will provide a hands on history experience including a lesson on berry ink and butter making in colonial times. This is a free program with limited workshop space. Contact the library at 508-295-2343 ext. 1011 to sign up.
