Update: Man dies after stabbing on Main St.

A 23-year-old Wareham man who was stabbed at Cumberland Farms on Main St. Wednesday morning has died, according to police.

The unidentified victim was initially listed as in critical condition. He was first transported to Tobey Hospital but was then airlifted to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Police arrested four men near the scene--two on Indian Neck Road and two on the train tracks along Merchants Way. All have been charged with assault with intent to murder.

The four suspects, Latroy Hairston, 19, Jared Frye, 19, Demetrius Goshen, 18 and Adrian Garcia, 20, all from Wareham, are in custody at the Wareham Police Department. .

Initially, an unidentified officer was heard saying one of the suspects had blood on his clothing.

According to police, the stabbing occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m., the result of a "confrontation between several males."

Several unmarked police vehicles were seen traveling down Main Street Wednesday afternoon, and police had secured the parking lot of Cumberland Farms with crime-scene tape.

Wareham Police said they and State Police detectives are investigating.
