Veterans Council plans Memorial Day ceremonies

The Wareham Veterans Council will honor those who died in while serving in the military on Memorial Day, May 27. The Council will stop at locations throughout town, including cemeteries, the town green, and town hall. At each stop, there will be opening remarks, a prayer, a Pledge of Allegiance, laying of the wreath, playing of taps, and firing of arms by an Honor Guard.
The schedule is as follows:
8:30 a.m.: Town Green
9:00 Center Cemetery
9:30 St. Patrick’s Cemetery
10:00 Besse Park
10:30 Agawam Cemetery
11:00 Dudley Brown Square
11:30 Onset Bluffs
12 noon Stone Bridge
12:30 Town Hall
