The Onset VFW will be hosting its fifth annual Christmas Dinner for seniors, veterans, and people in need on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The VFW is seeking donations of items to help people through the winter, including clothing, batteries, gift certificates for food, coats, hats, and gloves. 

Additionally, the VFW will be preparing food for the meal this year, and is seeking monetary donations to purchase ingredients.

Donations can be dropped off at the VFW, 4 Gibbs Ball Park Rd., from 1 to 10 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays.
