Wareham Community Associates clambake cooks up $5,000 for scholarships
Jul 26, 2016
Wareham Community Associates raised more than $5,000 at the organization's sold-out annual clambake, held on July 20 at Zecco Marine.
The money raised funds scholarships for seniors graduating from Wareham High School.
Attendees feasted on all the fixings of a traditional New England-style clambake, with fare including whole lobsters, fish, sausage, hot dogs, linguica, chourizo, ears of corn, and potatoes.

Bill Atwood and Gordon Foot prepare to transfer the clams from the Wareham Community Associates bake to serving tables, where volunteers doled out all the fixings to attendees. BY JAIME REBHAN
