Wareham Community Television hosts Candidate Night

Apr 25, 2021

Wareham’s aging sewer system. Potential additions to Wareham Public Schools’ curriculum. Balancing environmental concerns and the need for development.

These were among a few of the topics those vying for seats on town boards and committees touched on during Wareham Community Television’s Candidate Night on Saturday, April 24.

A handful of technical difficulties delayed the program and later resulted in a couple of candidates being temporarily unable to answer questions, but the program went ahead despite the glitches.

With the help of host Indiana Troupe — a Wareham High School sophomore and the AV Club president — and event supervisor, WCTV’s Christian Fernandes, candidates had the opportunity to introduce themselves to voters, explain their decision to run for office and answer questions.
