Wareham Elks honor veterans at National Cemetery in Bourne

Veterans and members of the Wareham Lodge of Elks participated in Memorial Day celebrations held at the National Cemetery in Bourne on Sunday, May 27.
Officers of the Wareham Elks escorted organizations and their representatives to dedicate their wreaths at the cemetery. The Wareham Elks Emblem Club, represented by past president Arlene Alden, also placed a wreath at the ceremony.
Senator Scott Brown delivered a speech, along with a member of the USS Oklahoma, with the theme "freedom is not free."
