Wareham Free Library announces fundraisers

The Wareham Free Library has several upcoming fundraisers. Read on to learn how you can support the library.

Jewelry and Accessory Sale

The Friends of the Wareham Free Library are requesting donations of new and gently-used jewelry, purses, hats, gloves and scarves. Donated items will be sold at the library on Nov. 17 from 4 to 6:45 p.m., Nov. 18 from noon to 5 p.m. and Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Mad Tea Party

This one-act comedy takes place at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 at the Redmen Hall. Tickets are on sale at both Spinney and the Main Libraries for $25, which includes appetizers, desserts and a cash bar. Live and silent auctions will take place.

Quilt Raffle

A handmade quilt has been donated by the Busy Bee Quilters to the Friends to benefit the library. Raffle tickets cost $5 and are available at both the Main and Spinney Libraries. The winner will be drawn on Dec. 3 during the Holiday Faire.
