The Wareham Gatemen clinched second seed in the playoffs on Tuesday by winning its last regular season game 6-5 against the Bourne Braves.

The Gatemen will next play the Falmouth Commodores in the best of three Western Division semi-finals.

Game 1 will be at home on Thursday, August 9 at 7 p.m.

Game 2 will be at Falmouth on Friday, August 10 at 7 p.m.

Game 3, if necessary, will be at home on Saturday, August 11 at 7 p.m.

The Western Division finals will be held August 12 to 14. The Cape Cod Baseball League East versus West best of three Championship will be held August 15 to 17.

The Gatemen clinched the second seed play-off spot after four straight losses as the Gatemen looked like they were stumbling towards the finish line of the 2012 season.

Following the losses, the Gatemen won four straight games to clinch the second seed.

The Gatemen end the season with 21 wins and 23 losses.
