Wareham High School student awarded scholarship by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Benjamin Brogioli, a junior at Wareham High School, has been awarded the Rensselaer Medal.
The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York, recognizes students who have achieved excellence in math and science. Recipients are selected by their high school’s faculty and staff.
The award dates back to 1916, and is intended to recognize students’ achievements and inspire them to choose a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The award grants each student a $30,000 annual merit scholarship for all four years of an undergraduate degree at the school if the student is accepted.
