Wareham man, brother injured in Plymouth accident
A Plymouth man is facing multiple charges after allegedly hitting two men on Red Brook Road in Plymouth and fleeing the scene on Saturday, March 30.
Timothy Roberts, 27, of Wareham, and his brother, Joseph Roberts, 30, of Carver, were walking on Red Brook Road in Plymouth, near the Wareham line, when they were struck.
Timothy Roberts remains in a Boston hospital, where he was transported via medical helicopter. His condition was initially critical, but has been upgraded to fair. Joseph Roberts was treated at Tobey Hospital.
Kevin Spencer, 26, of Plymouth, is charged with operating under the influence, his second offense, as well as operating under the influence resulting in serious injury, and leaving the scene where personal injury occurred, according to a Plymouth District Court clerk.
Spencer was held in lieu of $20,000 bail, and is due back in Plymouth District Court on May 17.
