Wareham man charged in Plymouth crystal-meth sting

Feb 2, 2017

A Wareham man is among seven who were arraigned on Thursday for making and distributing crystal meth out of a home in Plymouth.

David Hill, 20, of Wareham was among those arrested after a month-long investigation by Plymouth Police into narcotics distribution out of a home at 55 Spooner St.

During the investigation, police made multiple crystal meth buys, and received information stating that the drug was also manufactured in the house.

On Wednesday, Plymouth Police detectives, along with agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, searched the Spooner Street address, discovering a sophisticated drug-manufacturing laboratory and multiple bags containing crystal meth.

Hill and six others were charged with possession to distribute a Class B Substance, manufacturing a Class B substance, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act. Hill pleaded not guilty and was held on $10,000 bail. A motion to revoke bail on two other open cases was allowed.

The information provided from the district attorney's office did not include street addresses of Hill or any others charged.

The six others who were arrested alongside Hill are as follows:

  • Richard Pearson, 41, of Plymouth, pleaded not guilty and was held on $200,000 bail.
  • Stephanie Dubis, 39, of Plymouth, pleaded not guilty and was held on $2,000 bail.
  • Casey Hamilton, 38, of Ocala Florida, pleaded not guilty and was held on $25,000 bail.
  • Brittany Navarro, 18, of Plymouth, pleaded not guilty and was held on $2,500 bail.
  • Kiana Pearson, 19, of Plymouth, pleaded not guilty and was held on $2,500 bail.
  • Peter McDonnell, 18, of Plymouth, was arraigned on one count of possession of crystal meth, and was released on personal recognizance.
