Wareham Police charge Cumberland Farms employee with stealing lottery tickets

A Cumberland Farms employee has been charged with stealing approximately $3,400 worth lottery tickets over the course of four weeks, according to Wareham Police.

Matthew Christianson, 28, of New Bedford, was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200 after allegedly stealing lottery tickets from the Cumberland Farms on Depot Street.

Wareham Police arrested on Oct. 18 after receiving a report about the stolen tickets. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Wareham District Court.
