A fugitive with warrants in New Hampshire and Florida, a man who reportedly refused to leave Tobey Hospital and an alleged drunk driver were all arrested by Wareham Police over the span of three days.

Stuart Mailman, 57, of Hyannis, was arrested in the parking lot of the Depot Street Cumberland Farms on Sept. 28 just before noon. Police said Mailman had two default warrants from Massachusetts, a warrant from New Hampshire and a warrant from Florida. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

Later, at about 2:15 a.m., officers went to Tobey Hospital for a disturbance. At the scene, Officers Ryan Turner and Robert McLain arrested Robert Proctor, 59, of Quincy, for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and trespassing after notice. Police said Proctor refused to leave the hospital when requested and became unruly when approached by police.

On Sunday, Sept. 30, just before midnight, Wareham Police were called to the Briarwood Beach Motel for a disturbance. There, officers saw a man attempting to leave the parking lot. Police stopped the vehicle and after an investigation arrested Paul Knueven, 53, of Medway. Knueven was charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.
