Wareham Public Schools to live blog during School Committee meetings
In an effort to provide another way for families to follow Wareham Public Schools news, the school district will be “live-blogging” from its School Committee meetings.
The blog can be accessed at http://warehamps.org/home/scliveblog during scheduled School Committee meetings. Updates will be posted throughout the meeting.
"We'd like to see if we can get additional folks following (the happenings at Wareham Public Schools)," said Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Shaver-Hood.
The first live blog took place at the School Committee's workshop on November 12, with District/Technology Outreach Coordinator Jaime Rebhan doing the blogging for the schools.
"It's one way to get public participation," said committee member Rhonda Veugen at the meeting.
