Wareham’s Bhavin Patel is a first year student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicne. He participated in the College’s annual White Coat Ceremony.

The ceremony formally recognized the transition students make from lay persons to those assuming the responsibility of physicians.

The event was held on Thursday, Oct. 10, and 175 students were given coats.
