Kathleen Coyle, representing the Wareham Garden Club, was awarded a blue ribbon by the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts for this submission (see the next slide for the list of plants used). It also won the Marie Hancock Cook Certificate of Merit for Achievement in Traditional Flower Arrangement and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Medal for Design. BY ANDREW W. GRIFFITH
