Selectmen on Tuesday announced several important dates for the upcoming Spring Town Meeting.

The meeting itself will be held on April 22 at 7 p.m. in the Wareham High School auditorium. The last day to submit regular agenda items for the meeting is Feb. 4 while the final day to submit citizen’s petition items is Feb. 7. Selectmen will officially close the agenda on Feb. 12. March 7 is the latest Selectmen can publish the entire agenda in a local newspaper.

Selectmen must also post the agenda in each of the town’s six precincts and deliver a copy to the town moderator.

Board members also announced that the town’s election will be held on April 2. Polling takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more on the election, click here.
