Wareham Vikings now 2-2 with win over Fairhaven
Oct 2, 2016
It was a well-earned victory for the Wareham Vikings football team, who scored 30 points over Fairhaven's 7 on Friday, Sept. 30.
Isaac Nacimento scored three touchdowns in the first half of the game.
At the end of the fourth quarter, captain Jordan Phillips recovered a fumbled football and scored another touchdown.
“I was really happy with the way the team played,” said Phillips, “especially with the loss last week.”
In a game against Skeekonk last week, the Vikings went scoreless against Skeekonk's 20 points.
Prior to that, the Vikings won over Bourne 38-8 and a close loss against Old Rochester, 28 to 21.
Their record is 2-2 for the season. The next game is Oct. 7 at home against Nauset Regional 7 p.m.
