Wareham Vikings playoff bound after close win

The Vikings eked out a close win as time ticked away against GNB Voc-Tech on Tuesday night and are now headed to the playoffs.
While double-teamed, Taylor Carlson found Dominic Labelle heading toward the hoop with 10 seconds left in the game. With the basket, Wareham beat GNB Voc-Tech 58-56.
Carlson was the high scorer of the game and finished with 25 points. He also had two 3-pointers. Labelle scored 14 points.

The team’s overall record is now 10-3. Its conference record is 9-1. The team’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, against Case High School at home. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.
