WCTV auction raises $2,000 each for local non-profits
Jul 18, 2011
The Wareham Community Television (WCTV) Live Auction & Entertainment Weekend, held May 20-21, raised thousands to benefit local charities.
Boys & Girls Club of Wareham, Onset Bay Association's Summer of Love, and Gianna's House will each receive about $2000 from the auction. As last year, the checks will be awarded at WCTV's annual meeting in September.
The bidding is not over yet. Tickets are available for a raffle of a professionally rebuilt 1988 Sea Ray Amberjack boat. Tickets can be picked up at the station. The drawing is on Monday, August 1 at 7 p.m. in WCTV's parking lot.
The boat raffle proceeds are separate from the auction.
