William D. “Tiny” Rosenfield, 89
William D. “Tiny” Rosenfield, 89, of Wareham, formerly of Somerville, died January 19, 2015 in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the husband of the late Letitia (DeSimone) Rosenfield.
Mr. Rosenfield served in the United States Navy and retired as an E6 from the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 220 in Wareham.
He was born in Colonial Heights, Virginia and lived in Somerville and Wareham.
Mr. Rosenfield worked as a truck driver for L. E. Muran Office Supplies for many years before retiring.
He enjoyed fishing, helping those in need and serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Greeter at St. Margaret’s Church in Buzzards Bay.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Gilda Cody of Wareham and Ann McDonald and her husband Bill of Wakefield, and several nephews and nieces.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24 at St. Margaret’s Church, Main St., Buzzards Bay. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth. Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
