NEW BEDFORD – William Gaige Gronblom, 28, of New Bedford, formerly of Wareham died Monday, April 3, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was the husband of Jessica L. (Rideout) Gronblom.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of Adam Gronblom of Plymouth and April (Butler) DeMoranville of Wareham.  William was a 2012 graduate from Upper Cape Regional Technical High School.  He was currently a manager for Home Depot in Hyannis.

William enjoyed electronics and all things technical.  He built his own computers, and was an avid gamer with X-Box and PlayStation consoles.  He loved to collectPokémon cards and enjoyed travelling to Disney in Orlando.

William was also a die-hard Patriots fan and loved his “furbaby” cats, “Ferb”, “Mavis”, “Miley” and “Maverick”.  He also liked to scare people with his ball python, “Te Kā”.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica; his parents, Adam Gronblom of Plymouth and April DeMoranville of Wareham; his step-father, Douglas DeMoranville of Wareham; his siblings, Kyleigh Rose Gronblom of Plymouth, and Noah DeMoranville and Lucas DeMoranville both of Wareham; and his paternal grandparents, Roger W. and Thalia Gronblom of Plymouth. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, the late Elaine Butler.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 5 – 8 PM.  Burial will be held at a later date.
