The Friends of Wareham's Elderly, in conjunction with Browne's Package Store, will host a wine tasting fundraising event from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on February 12 to benefit Wareham's seniors in need.

Apart from a socially conscious way for you and you partner to celebrate Valentine's Day this year, participants will also have an opportunity to learn more about several varieties of wine and cheese. Prices for participation range from $9.99 to $25. Various raffles will also be held.

Browne's Package Store is located at 135 Marion Road.
