Susan Grebber, a survivor of ovarian cancer, donated six inches of her hair on June 17 to a charity that makes wigs for cancer patients.

Tracy McGraw at Bladez Hair Salon did the haircut, and will be sending the donation in.

“I’m a cancer survivor, so that was a big reason. I know what it’s like to lose hair. I’ve been bald. I finally was ready to give back and help someone else. I feel very liberated,” Grebber said, adding that she likes her new haircut and feels lighter.
