The 5th Annual Gleason Family YMCA Wine and Beer Tasting will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall.

This year’s event has a whole new look and feel. Named “Goblet and Goblins” guests will have tasty drinks and food from local restaurants and caterers.

Added entertainment includes a tarot card reader and a tea leaf reader.

Personal Chef Colby Rottler, of Mattapoisett, will demonstrate the preparation of elegant appetizers and offering tastings to attendees.

The silent auction offers a variety of items that will appeal to everyone attending the event and the popular “Y Boxes” are back where for $20 you can choose a random decorated box and receive an item valued at least $25.

Items include restaurant gift certificates, movie passes, gifts, and holiday floral arrangements. Martignetti Company and Sullivan’s Liquors is donating beer and wine. Tickets are available at the Gleason Family YMCA or online at www.ymcasouthcoast.org.

Dress-up is optional, but there is a prize for best costume.
