A Wareham firefighter was treated and released from Tobey Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 6, following a fire at 251 Sandwich Road at 9:17 a.m..

The accidental fire took place in the basement of the home while two people were present.

One person was evaluated by EMS at the scene.

Fifteen firefighters responded to the scene, five were on coverage.
