John Michael “Mickey” Connolly, 55, of Wareham, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, Nov. 27. Born in New Bedford, MA, on June 4, 1958 he is the son of Edmund Connolly and the late Charlotte (Rose) Connolly.

Mickey, a graduate of Wareham High School, worked as a Construction worker for many years. He enjoyed watching sports, cooking, playing golf and listening to oldies music. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was full of life, love and laughter, and will truly be missed by all.

Survivors include, daughter Keysha McQueen of Texas, his sisters Nancy Connolly & Catherine Connolly of Fla., Ellen Cain of Va.; Erie Contreras of New Bedford, MA; his companion Faye Cardoza and grandchildren Aaliyah, Makayla & Liann; nieces Justine, Nevaeh, Rache’, Rae-Ana, Jailene, Giuliana and nephews Jeremy, Brandon, Joshua and Gabriel along with a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

John is preceded in death by mother, Charlotte (Rose) Connolly, brother, Edmund Connolly Jr, Grandfather, Edmund Conley, and Grandmother, Julia (Mendes) Connolly.

He will be cremated.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
