Roland E. Desjardins, 90, of Wareham passed away Tuesday, March 18, at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab at Forestview in Wareham. Roland was the husband of the late Marie J. (LaBonte) Desjardins.

Roland was born in New Bedford, the son of the late Elzear and Gracia (Valliere) Desjardins. A WWII Navy veteran, Roland was a Signalman serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre and the Philippines. He also worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry.

He is survived by his daughter Janice MacKenzie of Wareham, his grandchildren; Jeanine MacKenzie and her Fiancée Matt, Daniel MacKenzie and his wife Lisa and his great grandchildren Hannah and Liam MacKenzie. Roland was the brother of the late Delia Gauvin and Irene Sauve. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
