The Onset Protective League and the Town Moderator are organizing a Preview of Town Meeting on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium. The purpose of the Preview is to review the articles on the Town Warrant in anticipation of Town Meeting on October 25.

The Fall Town Meeting Warrant contains a significant number of articles which must be acted upon. It would be helpful for the voters to have has much information as possible prior to, so voters can come to Town Meeting with some understanding of the articles coming before them.

The purpose of the Preview will not be to debate the articles, as that should occur at Town Meeting, but rather the Preview will be structured to provide background information ahead of time with regard to the prospective articles so that the voters can consider them in the days leading up to Town Meeting.

All proponents of the articles including town boards, committees and commissions have been invited to answer questions concerning the town warrant articles.
