Judy L. Hill, 62
Judy L. Hill, 62, of Wareham died on March 14 after a month of battling cancer. She died at home surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of the late John and Helen Rogers and the widow of the late Robert D. Hill.
Judy was born and raised in Wareham. She graduated from Wareham High. Judy became a CNA for many years while raising her family. For the last decade she has worked at Dunkin' Donuts, and she referred to herself as a self-proclaimed Dunkin' Donuts aficionado. She then went to Cumberland Farms and worked there until the day she found out she had cancer. She was loved by all her customers from both of her jobs. She enjoyed crocheting and making crafts. She also enjoyed playing games on Facebook.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her sons Stephen Rogers, Sr. and Shawn Hill both of Wareham; her daughters Jennifer Keswick and her husband Jeffrey of Plymouth, and Tabatha Hill of Wareham; her sister Joann Rawlings and her husband William of Wareham; and her best friend/sister Althea McNevin and her husband Dennis of E. Wareham. She also leaves her nephew James Rawlings and his wife Rachel of Wareham; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many “adopted” grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a loved extended family from Cumberland Farms. Judy was the grandmother of the late Viktoria Moran.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham. A celebration of life will be held at Redman Hall, 758 Main St., Wareham on Sunday, March 29 from noon to 4 p.m. Provisions will be pot luck. Please feel free to make a dish for about 8 or make a dessert. Anything would be appreciated.
