The Wareham High School Class of 1945 celebrated their 65th Reunion on Tuesday, August 24, with a luncheon at Lindsey's Restaurant.

The Reunion Committee members included Francis "Tuey" McWilliams, Greenwood "Sonny" Hartley, Shirley Rhodes Hartley, Anna Gifford White, and Barbara Wordell Federici.

Those in attendance included Millie Haddad Zimmerman, who traveled from New Orleans, LA to rejoin fellow classmates.  Class Vice President Francis McWilliams, in memory of deceased members of the class.  Class Secretary Anna Gifford White read letters from several classmates who were unable to attend, and she also passed around letters and pictures that she had received.

After the great get-together of old friends, the luncheon was closed by Mr. McWilliams with the wish that all attending would still be here for our 70th reunion in 2015.  He ended with the following words: "No doubt you're looking back today, and thinking, 'wasn't that just yesterday?'"
