Scott D. Fitta, 53, of Wareham, died Friday, October 28, 2010 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.  He was the husband of Samnang Lam (Van) Fitta.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of Lorrain (Lamoureux) Fitta, of Taunton, and the late Robert Fitta.  He has been a resident of Wareham for the past 13 years.

Mr. Fitta was employed as a home inspector for Tiger Home Inspection.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, his sons, Corey Fitta, of Taunton, and Aaron Fitta, of Rehoboth; his stepchildren, Kurt Van, of Providence, RI, Rany Van, of Lowell, and Roy Van, of Somerville; his brothers and sisters, Demi Raymond, of Haverhill, Robert Fitta, of Attleboro, Raymond Fitta, of Raynham, Michael Fitta, of Florida and Lori Fitta, of Dighton.  He was predeceased by his brother, the late Louis Fitta.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 1 p.m.
