Celestino Pimental Jr. 82, “Sully” of West Wareham, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, at Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Ellen (Amaral) Pimental of West Wareham.

Mr. Pimental was the son of the late Celestino and Beatrice (Rego) Pimental Sr. He was born in New Bedford and attended New Bedford Public Schools. Mr. Pimental was an U.S. Air Force, Korean War Veteran and he enjoyed NASCAR.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Debra Peres of California, Gary Pimental of Nevada, Brenda Pimental of California, Brian Pimental of New Bedford and a step son Joseph Frois of New Bedford. He is also survived by many loving grand and great grandchildren, relatives and friends. He was the brother of the late Gilda Lawrence.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Marion VFH Hall, 455 Mill St. Route 6 Marion, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
