Sep 21, 2015

The Massachusetts Children’s Relief’s Tastes and Sounds: Tapas 10 will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at Salerno’s in Onset Village.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. It is the 10th anniversary of the fundraising event, and will showcase the best dishes, décor and music of the past nine years.

Each guest will receive a goodie bag and program book with recipes for three courses containing 21 different dishes from around the world. There will be tastings, door prizes and free raffles, along with a silent auction.

All proceeds support Turning Point Day Resource Center for the Homeless and Nearly Homeless, and Wareham High School’s Best Buddies Program.

In the past 9 years, Taste & Sounds has raised over $35,000 for Turning Point, as well as supported Hurricane Katrina Kids, the Boys & Girls Club, Onset Youth Center, Hurricane Sandy and Oklahoma tornadoes relief, Wareham High School's Best Buddies, as well as individual local kids with life threatening medical conditions.

Tickets are $40 until noon on Sept 25, and may be purchased at Music of the Bay or Plymouth County Teachers Federal Credit Union. Any remaining tickets are $45.
