Toshiko Flory, 70

Toshiko (Wakazono) Flory, 70, of Wareham died April 20 in the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center at Forestview. She was the widow of the late Gerard Flory.

She was born in Tokyo, Japan and lived in Wareham for many years.

Mrs. Flory worked as a home health aid in the area for many years before retiring.

She enjoyed traveling, painting, gardening, and cooking and serving Japanese dishes for family and friends. She was a lifelong ambassador of Japanese culture.

Survivors include her three sons, Michael Flory and his wife Allison of Baxley, Georgia, Ernest Flory and his wife Noga of Amherst and Richard Flory of East Wareham; eight grandchildren; a great granddaughter and several relatives in Japan.

Her funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
