Bruce C. Eldridge, 73, of Wareham died Tuesday, April 26 at his home unexpectedly.

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late James M. and Anna (Balas) Eldridge. A graduate of Wareham High School in 1961, Bruce worked as an auto mechanic for many years.

He is survived by his brothers, John S. Eldridge of Wareham and James A. Eldridge of Onset. He was predeceased by his son, the late Lee Michael Eldridge.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at the Agawam Cemetery, Stillman Drive, Wareham at 10 a.m. Visiting hours have been omitted.
