A fish fry fundraiser benefiting the Dudley L. Brown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2846 will be held on Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the post, located at 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road.

Tickets cost $10. The event is part of a series of monthly fundraisers organized by the “Keep Our Onset VFW Alive Committee.” Proceeds will help fund the effort to keep the post open.
