Comedy to show raise funds for Vikings cheerleaders on Nov. 18

On Nov. 18, Carolee’s Comedy Corner will host comedians Jess Miller and Drew Dunn for a Wareham High School Vikings Cheerleaders fundraiser at the Dudley L. Brown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road. The show starts at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Using her own life for inspiration, Miller has built an act that shows the humor in every aspect of life. She recently placed in the top three of The Devil Cup Comedy Festival in New York City and has performed stand-up comedy throughout New England including Foxwoods Casino, Mohegan Sun, Comedy Connection in Rhode Island, New York Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club and Caroline’s on Broadway.

Dunn started performing comedy at the age of 21. A New Hampshire based comic, he performs all over New England and in New York City. He won New Hampshire’s Best New Comic Contest in 2014. Most recently, he won the Beantown Comedy Riots competition. He was featured in the Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, Nebraska.
