Local author Bill Minot will celebrate the release of his book, 60 Miles from Salt Water, on May 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the Marion Bookstall, 151 Front Street, Marion.

Set against the lush lawns of an eastern prep school and the chapel
bells of a small New England college, 60 Miles from Salt Water follows
three young men into their individual adult lives as they enter the fast
track worlds of money, high society, and international finance, much to
their own peril.

Wine and light refreshments will be served at the event.
