Rochelle “Judy” Beeman, 80, died Dec. 27 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ida (Greenstein) August. A previous resident of Dedham, and Brockton, she moved to Wareham in 1970.

Judy was a school bus driver for the Wareham School Department for 40 years, and was affectionately known as, “Mrs. B.” She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and was passionate about greyhound dogs.

She is survived by her son, Scott Beeman of Wareham; her daughter, Lori J. Beeman of Wareham; and her grandson, Aarron Baptiste who was the light of her life. Also surviving are her nephew, Keith August of Framingham, and her niece, Susan August Lacombe of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Irving August.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 8 at the Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 120 Canton St., Sharon at noon.
