The Harbormaster Department's third annual Boating Safety Day will be held this Saturday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Onset Pier.

Exhibitors from all areas of the local marine industry will be available. The event will feature a United States Coast Guard boating safety inspection team, which will conduct no-cost boat inspections.

Lifejacket sizing stations will also be available and expired marine flares will be collected for boaters needing to dispose of flares.

Attendees will also be able to tour the Harbormaster Department's Boston Whaler patrol boat and a Coast Guard vessel.
