A 51-year-old Wareham man was arrested on Thursday for "threatening extreme violence" against coworkers at Republic Waste Services.

According to the Yarmouth Police Department, Rogelio Lopez Jr. made threats over the phone against his fellow workers.

He was suspended last week and terminated from his job at Republic Waste Services in Yarmouth. He had previous incidents at work and no prior criminal record in Massachusetts.

Yarmouth Police Detectives teamed up with the Wareham Police Department to arrest Lopez in his home.
