The Wareham Firemen’s Association will hold a chicken bake and surprise auction on March 24 at 6 p.m. at Redmen Hall.

Tickets for the dinner are $20 per person and include salad, half a barbeque chicken, potato, vegetable, rolls, butter, coffee and dessert.

Attendees should bring a wrapped item for the surprise auction which may be new or re-purposed. Wrap the item in the Sunday comics, put it in a beautiful gift bag or disguise it in some manner that will entice bidding. The bidders don’t know what they are bidding on. The Association requests that the item be worthy of someone taking it home at the end of the night.

Tickets must be purchased by March 17. No tickets will be sold at the door.

All proceeds will benefit the Association's Scholarship Fund. Scholarship applications are available at the Wareham High School Guidance Office.
