Egg hunt festivities to kick off March 31

Mar 23, 2018

A family Easter egg hunt will be held in Onset on March 31 at 11 a.m. Thousands of eggs will be filled with treats and then spread around Onset Village for the event. The hunt will begin at Prospect Park and the Onset Bandshell and will continue until all the eggs are gone.

Participants are asked to bring their own basket to collect the eggs.

There will be a pancake breakfast before the hunt at Marc Anthony’s Pizzeria, 190 Onset Ave., from 9 to 11 a.m. Pancakes, sausage, juice or coffee will be served. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children.

This event is co-sponsored by Marc Anthony’s, Wareham’s Best Buddies Program and the Onset Bay Association. All proceeds will benefit Wareham Community for Outdoor Recreation and the Lopes Playground redesign and rebuild. For more information, call Nicole Micelli at 508-273-6104.
