Police: Wareham man arrested for OUI, 2nd offense after 'doing doughnuts' in parking lot

A 25-year-old Wareham man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence after an officer witnessed him “doing doughnuts” in a gravel lot.

Jordan Perry of Wareham was charged with operating under the influence liquor, second offense, on May 2. Police said Officer Michael Phinney was filling out a police report in his car at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the Bay Pointe Country Club parking lot when he witnessed Perry driving erratically.

Perry has also been charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
